Spread the Word Inclusion Day is an annual day of awareness on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. The day is aimed at showcasing the impact of inclusive language and actions so individuals of all abilities feel accepted.
All day long, we will be having:
– A kindness activity for all ages🖍
– Drink Specials – The “Inclusion Fusion”, The “Brewed This Way”☕
– Banner Signing to show support of Inclusion of all kinds. 🎨
– Music🎵
From 3:30 – 4:30, we will be hosting an inclusion rally here at the shop

Shari Rosen Ascher – Director of Policy & Programs
Small Business and Chambers of Commerce
Evan Latainer – Director of the Westchester County Office for People with Disabilities
Thomas Abinanti – is a recognized advocate for people with disabilities. The father of a young man with autism, Tom is particularly sensitive to the special needs of people with disabilities.
Ken Reedy – YAI – Regional Supervisor of Curriculum & Workforce Development
Josh Adler – Documentary Film Maker
– A Petition to sign to send to the Governor and the State Legislators urging them to support the future of individuals with developmental disabilities!

Fridays 9:30-10:30am
On Fridays we will be hosting a Story Time at our shop for 1 hour. All ages activity.
Don’t forget to bring your coziest PJs, blankets, and slippers.
Local Artist Daryl Scott from YAI will be sketching visitors at the shop.
Come stop by and take home a work of art.
